Overview
This bill requires nursing homes and assisted living facilities in New Jersey to undergo biennial, on-site inspections. The Department of Health will establish uniform care and operating standards within 180 days of the bill’s enactment and will post inspection reports online. The bill also allows for additional periodic reviews as deemed necessary by the Commissioner of Health.
