Overview
This bill requires New Jersey Transit (NJT) to offer Wi-Fi service on all of its passenger trains. Currently, NJT provides Wi-Fi hotspots at some train stations, and this legislation would extend that service to the trains themselves. The goal is to improve connectivity for riders traveling on NJT’s rail lines. This bill also supplements existing state law regarding transportation services.
