Overview
This bill requires the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) and AAA to enter into a contract allowing AAA facilities to provide certain motor vehicle services to customers. These services include renewing vehicle registrations, driver’s licenses (including REAL-ID upgrades), non-driver identification cards (also including REAL-ID upgrades), surrendering license plates, and conducting vision tests. The MVC will also be required to publish a list of available services at AAA locations on its website.
