Overview
This bill requires the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) to install and maintain video surveillance cameras at all license plate drop box locations. These cameras must continuously record footage, providing high-definition coverage of individuals using the drop boxes. The recorded footage will be stored securely for at least 30 days and can only be used for security purposes and investigations related to the drop boxes.
