This bill changes the rules for county colleges’ participation in the New Jersey Council of County Colleges. Currently, all county colleges were required to be members, but this legislation makes membership optional. The bill modifies existing state law to allow county colleges to choose whether or not to join the council. It also adjusts the process for assessing dues if a college chooses to participate.
