Bill overview
This bill prohibits discrimination against pregnant women in New Jersey who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine. It prevents employers, businesses, and other entities from asking about, requiring, or demanding proof of vaccination status, or taking adverse actions based on a woman’s choice not to receive the vaccine or disclose her vaccination status. The bill also establishes a civil penalty of $25,000 for those who violate these protections.
