This bill changes the composition of the New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling. It increases the number of board members from 13 to 15, and alters the qualifications for appointment. Specifically, it requires two members to represent public school vocational programs in cosmetology and hairstyling, and two to represent licensed private schools. The bill also changes the number of public members from three to two, and expands the pool of licensed professionals who can serve on the board.
