Bill overview
This bill would allow certain student parents in New Jersey to receive priority registration for courses at colleges and universities. To qualify, students must be the parent or legal guardian of a child under 18 and reside in the state. The priority registration process would follow the same procedures as those already in place for other groups of students who receive priority. Institutions are required to notify eligible students before each registration period.
