Bill overview
This bill changes how New Jersey state subsidies for child care providers are calculated. Instead of being based on the number of children actually attending, payments will now be based on the number of children enrolled with the provider. The subsidy payments will be determined on October 15 and April 15 each year. The Department of Human Services will also seek necessary state and federal approvals to implement this change.
