Bill overview
This bill requires New Jersey employers to create and implement policies and protocols to support employees affected by domestic violence. The Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DOLWD) will develop these guidelines in consultation with a domestic violence advisory council. These policies will cover training, response procedures, bystander intervention, and resources for victims, and must be made available to all employees annually.
