Bill overview
This bill requires the state of New Jersey to create a comprehensive inventory of all unused state-owned properties. State agencies will be required to submit lists of these properties to the State House Commission and the Department of the Treasury. These entities will then analyze the properties to determine their potential for conversion into affordable housing for low- and moderate-income residents, and the findings will be compiled into a biennial report submitted to the Governor and the Legislature.
