Bill overview
This bill modifies the membership of the Nevada State Board on Geographic Names. Specifically, it removes the representative from the Nevada Historical Society, adds a representative from the Division of Museums and History, clarifies the representative from the Department of Native American Affairs, and changes the voting status of representatives from the Bureau of Land Management, Forest Service, and National Park Service to nonvoting. The bill also provides a transition period for the current representative from the Nevada Historical Society to continue serving until a replacement is appointed.
