Bill overview
This bill revises the Nevada Educational Choice Scholarship Program by requiring scholarship organizations to repay tax credits if they use donations for which they received a tax credit to fund grants for the same pupil in the immediately preceding school year. It also mandates that scholarship organizations notify the Department of Taxation if they no longer have pupils eligible for grants and prohibits the Department from approving tax credit applications from organizations that have failed to provide this notification. Furthermore, the bill requires scholarship organizations to repay any unexpended donations for which they received a tax credit.
