Bill overview
This bill makes several changes to Nevada’s laws regarding intoxicating liquor. It allows certain food establishments, called ‘covered food establishments,’ to sell alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption under specific conditions, and authorizes their delivery. The bill also requires a surcharge on alcoholic beverage sales to fund an Ignition Interlock and DUI Reduction Program, and expands the program’s funding and purpose. Furthermore, it designates the Picon Punch as Nevada’s official state drink and provides for the issuance of a special permit for craft distilleries to import neutral spirits for exclusive production and export.
