Overview
This bill directs the Governor’s Office of Volunteerism to improve access to volunteer opportunities for individuals receiving NJ FamilyCare and SNAP benefits. It requires the office to work with the Departments of Human Services and Labor and Workforce Development to update the HELPNJNOW portal and encourage volunteerism to meet federal requirements for these programs.
