This bill increases the amount of paid leave of absence available to New Jersey public employees who are also members of the United States Reserves. Specifically, it expands the paid leave period from 30 to 90 workdays per calendar year for federal active duty service. Any leave exceeding 90 workdays will be unpaid but without loss of time.
