Bill overview
This bill changes the minimum number of annual thoroughbred horse racing dates required at Monmouth Park and Meadowlands Racetrack. It allows these racetracks to reduce the number of dates to as few as 25 if the state doesn't provide a specific purse subsidy, or 40 if the subsidy is less than $5 million but more than $10 million. The bill also maintains minimum race date requirements for standardbred racing at other tracks.
