Bill overview
This bill expands an existing exemption from New Jersey’s wage and hour laws for certain summer camp workers. Specifically, it extends the exemption to employees of private summer camps who are 22 years old or younger and enrolled in high school, college, vocational training, or resident summer camps. The exemption applies during the months of June, July, August, and September, allowing these camps to avoid overtime pay requirements.
