Bill overview
This bill repeals a law enacted in 2025 (P.L.2025, c.283) that required New Jersey health insurers and the state Medicaid program to cover immunizations recommended by the New Jersey Department of Health, even without cost-sharing. The previous law also mandated consideration of recommendations from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and other medical organizations. By repealing this law, the bill removes the requirement for insurers to follow these specific recommendations and references.
