Bill overview
This bill requires health insurance producers in New Jersey to disclose their earned income to customers. Specifically, producers must reveal the total annual revenue they receive from each vendor they recommend to a customer, as well as the compensation paid to them by the vendor, including any indirect payments. Health insurance vendors are also required to certify the compensation they pay to producers. This aims to increase transparency in the health insurance sales process.
