Bill overview
This bill requires the New Jersey Department of Transportation (DOT) to create and publish a live online map showing the location of snowplows owned, operated, or contracted by the DOT. When snowplows are actively clearing roads, the public will be able to see their progress. The map will have a 15-minute delay and will not display identifying information about the operators or the snowplows themselves to ensure operator safety.
