Bill overview
This bill directs the State Agriculture Development Committee to create informational materials explaining the advantages of participating in New Jersey’s farmland preservation program. These materials will be distributed to municipalities, who in turn will provide them to commercial farm owners and operators upon request. Local governments are also required to make these educational resources readily available to the public at their buildings. The goal is to increase awareness and encourage participation in the farmland preservation program.
