Overview
This bill increases the fines for individuals and facilities that fail to report suspected abuse or exploitation of institutionalized elderly persons. Currently, fines were capped at $500 for individuals and $2,500 for facilities. The bill raises these maximum fines to $1,500 for individuals and $5,000 for facilities.
