Overview
This bill would require registered voters in New Jersey to show photo identification at the polls. Acceptable forms of ID include New Jersey driver’s licenses, REAL ID cards, Division of Motor Vehicles identification cards, and U.S. passports. Voters who do not present valid ID or whose ID doesn’t match their appearance could be challenged, but the bill ensures they still have the opportunity to prove their eligibility to vote.
