Overview
This bill increases the fines for commercial vehicle owners who fail to display required markings, such as the owner’s name and business location. Currently, the fine is $10, but the bill raises it to $250 for a first offense, $500 for a second, and $1,000 for subsequent violations. The law requires these markings to be clearly visible on the vehicle or a nameplate attached to it.
