Overview
This bill requires law enforcement officers to notify the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission when a driver’s license is suspended. It also amends existing law to clarify the process for suspending or revoking licenses, including requiring notification to the driver’s local law enforcement agency and establishing a process for re-examination before a driver can regain their privileges after a suspension. The bill also addresses commercial driver licenses and requires completion of a driver improvement program in certain circumstances.
