Overview
This bill would allow minors aged 14 and 15 to work until 11 p.m. between Memorial Day and October 1 of each year, with written permission from a parent or legal guardian. Currently, these minors can only work until 9 p.m. during this period. The bill does not change restrictions on total hours worked or types of jobs available to minors, nor does it alter requirements for breaks or other employment standards.
