Overview
This bill prevents municipalities from automatically approving certain land use applications and allows them to temporarily suspend required meetings during public health or state of emergency declarations. Specifically, it prohibits default approvals under certain sections of the Municipal Land Use Law when a municipality is unable to process applications within the required timeframe due to an emergency. It also permits municipalities to forgo regular meetings and hearings during declared emergencies.
