Overview
This bill requires all school districts in New Jersey to offer full-day kindergarten programs. It also establishes a uniform age requirement of five years old by October 1st for kindergarten enrollment. Districts currently not offering full-day kindergarten in groups A, B, CD, or DE would be required to do so by the 2020-2021 school year, while all other districts would need to implement full-day kindergarten by the 2021-2022 school year.
