Overview
This bill requires companies bidding on contracts with the State of New Jersey to submit a report detailing their gender-based pay equity and job equality standards. The Division of Purchase and Property will evaluate these reports and assign a rating to each bidder, which will be considered alongside price when awarding contracts. Certain exceptions apply, such as during public emergencies or when federal funds are involved.
