Overview
This bill aims to address salary inequities for approximately 13,000 New Jersey State employees who currently don't receive scheduled salary increases because their positions don't have established salary ranges. It would provide these employees with salary increases that are comparable to, but not higher than, the average salary increases given to other State employees in established groups. Furthermore, the bill ensures that performance advancements won't be withheld unless an employee has received a formal, unsatisfactory performance evaluation.
