Overview
This bill allows New Jersey Boy Scout councils to get special license plates featuring the Boy Scouts of America logo and design. The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission will manage the program, collecting fees to cover costs and deposit any remaining funds into a special fund for each council. Councils will contribute non-public funds to help cover initial setup costs, and the commission will work with each council to design the plates. The bill also establishes procedures for applying for and renewing these plates.
