Overview
This bill allows for agriculture-related events, such as festivals and tractor pulls, to be held on preserved farmland in New Jersey. To do so, landowners must first obtain a permit from their county agriculture development board, which will limit the number of events per year and ensure the event doesn't interfere with the land's agricultural use. The bill also clarifies that holding a permitted event won't be considered a violation of existing farmland preservation agreements.
