Overview
This bill extends the early voting period for primary and May municipal elections in New Jersey. It changes the start date of early voting to 11 calendar days before the election, instead of the current 4th, 6th, or 10th day. Municipalities can also extend the early voting period for May municipal elections to begin 11 days before the election. The bill also outlines requirements for security and accessibility at early voting locations.
