Overview
This bill expands the New Jersey Nonprofit Security Grant Program, which provides funding to eligible nonprofit organizations at risk of attack. It increases the maximum grant amounts available for hiring security personnel, security-related training and planning, and acquiring target-hardening equipment. The bill also requires the Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness to request a larger annual budget for the program to support these expanded grant opportunities.
