Overview
This bill allows members of the New Jersey National Guard to transfer their tuition benefits to their spouse or dependent child. Currently, National Guard members can receive up to 16 credits per semester tuition-free at public colleges if they meet certain requirements, including applying for grants and scholarships. This legislation expands access to these benefits by permitting a transfer to eligible family members, subject to their own eligibility requirements for financial aid.
