Overview
This bill increases the amount of revenue dedicated to the ‘New Jersey Wine Promotion Account,’ which is managed by the Department of Agriculture. The account funds research, development, and promotion efforts related to New Jersey wine. Currently, a portion of the tax on wines, vermouth, and sparkling wines is allocated to this account, but the bill raises this percentage to 100% of the tax revenue.
