Overview
This bill requires businesses with certain alcohol licenses in New Jersey to sell beverage lids to customers. Businesses must offer lids for a reasonable cost, post a notice encouraging customers to use them to prevent drink spiking, and provide information about the requirements on their website. The law is temporary and will expire after 30 months.
