Overview
This bill eliminates the prohibition on paper bags for grocery orders and allows grocery stores and third-party delivery services to offer a variety of packaging options for three years. It requires a program for the disposition of reusable bags and extends the timeframe for food banks and pantries to use existing paper bags. The bill also mandates that any reusable bags offered for home delivery be part of a return, recycling, or donation program.
