Overview
This bill increases the solar development goals of the SREC-II program and extends certain target dates to 2035. Specifically, it raises the annual goal for new solar power generation from 3,750 megawatts to 750 megawatts, and expands the small solar facilities incentive program to encourage the development of community and net-metered solar projects. The bill also modifies the competitive solicitation process for awarding SREC-IIs to ensure fiscal responsibility and promote the development of solar energy resources.
