Overview
This bill amends the New Jersey Smoke-Free Air Act to regulate smoking in casinos and casino simulcasting facilities. It exempts certain cigar bars and lounges that meet specific income and location criteria, as well as designated smoking areas within casinos and simulcasting facilities, subject to ventilation and separation requirements. The bill also allows for limited smoking in designated areas within these facilities, capped at 25% of the floor space. It also provides a pathway for previously registered cigar bars to renew their registrations under specific conditions.
