Overview
This bill expands the responsibilities of the Child Advocacy Center-Multidisciplinary Team Advisory Board and establishes a Problematic Sexual Behavior Program. The Advisory Board will be required to conduct annual progress reviews to ensure centers comply with accreditation standards. The Problematic Sexual Behavior Program aims to provide a coordinated statewide response to cases involving youth engaging in or impacted by problematic sexual behaviors, including establishing a specialized care coordinator role and a funding mechanism. It seeks to improve services and support for survivors and their families.
