Overview
This bill allows the State of New Jersey to transfer ownership of approximately 219.36 acres of state-owned land in Lacey and Stafford townships, Ocean County, to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This land is currently used by the Department of Environmental Protection’s Marine Resources Administration and is being exchanged for approximately 52.27 acres of land in Galloway Township, Atlantic County, to facilitate the construction of new office space. The transfer will expand the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge.
