Overview
This bill creates a pilot program to track school buses in New Jersey. The Department of Education will work with selected school districts to equip their buses with GPS systems and develop a mobile application. This app will allow parents and guardians to track the real-time location and speed of the buses their children are riding. The program will be implemented over four years and will select at least one district from each region of the state.
