Bill overview
This bill revises Nevada’s workers’ compensation laws by removing a prohibition on the association’s administrator having a financial interest in the third-party administrator. It also eliminates a requirement for annual assessments paid by self-insured employers and associations, and modifies rules regarding independent medical examinations and lump-sum payments for permanent disabilities. Notably, it restricts claims related to subsequent injuries to those incurred on or before September 30, 2025, and removes provisions related to completion cards for safety training.
