Bill overview
This bill modifies Nevada law regarding construction hours in common-interest communities. It expands restrictions on construction times near occupied residential units, regardless of the county’s population. Specifically, if a county or city adopts an ordinance limiting construction hours, any project more than 300 feet from a residential unit must begin construction by 5 a.m. between April 1st and September 30th. The bill also ensures that existing ordinances are void if they are more restrictive than these new rules and clarifies that any governing documents within a common-interest community cannot be more restrictive.
