Overview
This bill would allow members of planning and zoning boards in New Jersey to fulfill their required training on land use law and planning through online courses. The Commissioner of Community Affairs would be responsible for creating and offering a basic course, accessible in both online and in-person formats. Board members would have 18 months to complete the course after it’s offered to maintain their membership.
