Overview
This bill requires the president of New Jersey’s public colleges and universities to regularly report on-campus criminal incidents, fires, and emergencies to the institution’s governing board. The reports must detail the nature and number of these events, along with the status of any investigations and disciplinary actions taken. Information related to investigations or disciplinary actions not subject to public record laws will be reported in executive session.
