Overview
This bill requires the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) to establish a physical presence – either separate vehicle and licensing agencies or a combined agency – in every county of the state. Currently, the MVC’s services may not be readily accessible to all residents due to limited locations. This legislation aims to improve access to vehicle and driver’s licensing services across New Jersey by ensuring a county-wide network.
