Overview
This bill establishes deadlines for the New Jersey Attorney General to publish quarterly crime data and to produce an annual report on crime trends. The Attorney General must make quarterly crime data available on the Department of Law and Public Safety website within six months of the end of each quarter. Additionally, the bill mandates that the Attorney General submit an annual report to the Governor and the Legislature by the first day of the thirteenth month following the end of the reporting period.
